Do you have chest pain, experiencing shortness of breath, or have persistent coughing? Atlantic Lung Centers uses Digital X-Ray images to evaluate your lungs and chest walls.
An X-Ray uses a small amount of radiation that passes through the body to create an image using digital sensors. Special care is taken during an examination to ensure that the lowest amount of radiation is used while producing quality images.
Digital X-Ray imaging allows us to quickly diagnose and treat our patients.
On the day of the exam:

Please wear loose, fitting clothing, avoiding clothing that may have zippers, belts, or even buttons made of metal.

You may be asked to wear a gown during the procedure.

You will be asked to remove keys and jewelry in the area being scanned.
If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, please inform the physician and the technologist.
